Story & heritage
Belstaff's Find Your Icon guide places the Fieldmaster in 2019, describing it as a more relaxed jacket that carries the Trialmaster's fit and signature look. It keeps the tilted map pocket and field-jacket presence but swaps the external belt for an internal drawstring waist.
That makes it the approachable Belstaff icon: still waxed, checked and hardware-driven, but less formal than a belted motorcycle jacket.
Materials & craft
The official product page lists 6 oz. waxed cotton with a water- and wind-repellent wax coating, corduroy lining at high-contact points, cotton twill Belstaff check lining and four storm-proof bellows pockets. The shell and body lining are both cotton.
How to choose & style
Fieldmaster is the easiest everyday Belstaff icon. Wear it slightly open over knitwear or a T-shirt, and let the internal waist sit relaxed rather than sharply cinched.
