Story & heritage
The peacock feather is one of Boucheron's oldest nature motifs: the house history links Plume de Paon to Frédéric Boucheron and Paul Legrand in 1866, and to the claspless Point d'Interrogation necklace that became a symbol of Boucheron style.
On this ring, the motif becomes an airy openwork curve. Boucheron describes the feather as a symbol of lightness, designed to hug the finger and become one with the wearer.
Materials & craft
The official ring is crafted in 18-carat white gold and set with 84 round diamonds totaling 0.62 carat. Its openwork setting keeps the feather light while the pavé line makes the movement visible from every angle.
How to choose & style
Plume de Paon is softer than Quatre and more sculptural than a classic pavé band. It is most expressive on a bare hand, where the feather can read as a line drawing rather than just sparkle.
