Story & heritage
Serpent Bohème was born in 1968. Boucheron presents it as a sculpture in gold and one of the Maison's icons, a sentimental jewel that has moved across eras while keeping its recognizable drop.
The drop motif aesthetically symbolizes a snake's head. Over time it has multiplied across sizes, colors, gemstones and ways of wearing, but the pendant keeps the idea at its purest: a single luminous scale suspended from a chain.
Materials & craft
The official XS pendant is made in 18K yellow gold and set with round diamonds totaling 0.10 carat. The chain length is listed as 44 cm, and the line's craft codes include sculpted gold, a beaded surround, a twisted chain and a carefully finished reverse.
How to choose & style
The XS motif is the everyday Serpent Bohème: light enough for a shirt collar or fine-knit neckline, but unmistakable because of the beaded edge. It layers cleanly with shorter chains and keeps its warmth beside yellow-gold hoops.
