Story & heritage

Boucheron's Animaux de Collection is grounded in a bestiary tale that the Maison says began in its workshops in 1866. Its most personal animal is Wladimir, the cat: Boucheron notes that Wladimir appears in the archives from the end of the 19th century and became a permanent figure after a 1978 advertising campaign with a High Jewelry necklace.

The current ring keeps that mascot energy. Wladimir proudly wears a diamond collar, a nod to those first campaigns, and turns the house cat into a protective high-jewelry presence.

Materials & craft

The official Wladimir ring is made in 18K white gold with black and pink lacquer. It is set with a 7.82-carat trillion-cut aquamarine, 255 round diamonds totaling 2.12 carats and a 0.17-carat pear-shaped diamond.

How to choose & style

Wladimir is not a quiet ring. Treat it as the only major jewel on the hand, then keep earrings small or catlike if you want the bestiary mood to continue without competing.
