Story & heritage
EVISU was founded in Osaka in 1991 by Hidehiko Yamane and built its denim reputation around small-batch jeans: the brand history records early production at about 14 pairs a day, each finished with Yamane's seagull mark. That makes the rear-pocket Seagull, Daicock and Godhead details more than decoration—they are the visual language EVISU uses to connect current pieces back to its denim origin.
The #2038 version expands EVISU's Daicock language into a loose fit. Its official description highlights heavyweight denim, a washed finish and an ecru Daicock print integrated into the back of the jean.

How to choose & style
The pale Daicock works best with restrained layers—grey, navy, ecru and washed black make the print feel intentional rather than novelty-driven.
