Story & heritage
EVISU was founded in Osaka in 1991 by Hidehiko Yamane and built its denim reputation around small-batch jeans: the brand history records early production at about 14 pairs a day, each finished with Yamane's seagull mark. That makes the rear-pocket Seagull, Daicock and Godhead details more than decoration—they are the visual language EVISU uses to connect current pieces back to its denim origin.
The #2020 regular fit is presented by EVISU as the foundation of its classic denim range, a straight-leg cut that keeps the same width from hip to hem. In this Made in Japan version, the official product copy ties the style to Okayama production and finishes the back pockets with a green Seagull print.
Materials & craft
Produced in limited quantities in Okayama, Japan. The #2020 regular fit is the foundation of EVISU's classic denim — a straight leg that holds the same width from hip to hem, making it the most effortlessly wearable cut in the range. A light wash keeps things fresh and everyday-ready, with natural whisker fading scattered across the thigh. The green Seagull print on the rear pockets reads clean and timeless against the pale blue ground, carrying the brand's identity without saying too much. How to choose & style
Treat this as the EVISU baseline: wear it with a plain tee and leather belt when the Seagull should be the only graphic note, or sharpen the straight leg with cropped knitwear and low-profile sneakers.
