Story & heritage
EVISU was founded in Osaka in 1991 by Hidehiko Yamane and built its denim reputation around small-batch jeans: the brand history records early production at about 14 pairs a day, each finished with Yamane's seagull mark. That makes the rear-pocket Seagull, Daicock and Godhead details more than decoration—they are the visual language EVISU uses to connect current pieces back to its denim origin.
EVISU describes the #2017 as a taper fit, narrowing the leg while keeping the house's rear-pocket Seagull visible. The official listing places this version in limited-quantity Okayama production and uses a white Seagull print against a light indigo wash.
