Story & heritage
Georg Jensen describes Fusion as first envisioned by Danish designer Nina Koppel. Its identity is the wave-shaped join: separate ring pieces interlock like a personal composition rather than a conventional band.
The official three-piece ring carries a design year of 2000 and remains the clearest expression of the idea: yellow, white and rose gold elements meeting in a graphic, organic seam.
Materials & craft
The current three-piece example combines 18 karat yellow gold, white gold and rose gold, with the white-gold centre ring pavé-set with brilliant diamonds. The engineering is in the fit: the components must read as individual pieces while locking into a continuous silhouette.
How to choose & style
Fusion looks strongest when treated as the hand's main jewellery event. Mixed metals let it bridge a yellow-gold watch, a silver bracelet or a diamond band without feeling mismatched.
