Story & heritage
Georg Jensen states that Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe designed the Torun bangle in 1968. The official description frames it around togetherness: a piece representing the promise of staying together because we are stronger together than apart.
Its longevity comes from that economy. The bangle is instantly identifiable, but it is made from one clean gesture rather than visible ornament.
Materials & craft
The official offered bangle is made from sterling silver and 18 carat yellow gold and is available in five sizes from extra-small to extra-large. The metalwork depends on a slim open curve and a small gold accent holding the composition in tension.
How to choose & style
Torun is ideal as a daily bangle because it reads from across the room but stays slim from the side. Wear the silver-gold version when mixing metals; the all-silver version is the quieter modernist choice.
