Mercy is designed by Jacqueline Rabun, a long-time Georg Jensen collaborator. The official product copy ties the bangle's fluid open shape to the flow of time and the gap in the middle to a pause for reflection.
The open bangle entered the line with a 2019 design year and has become the most concise Mercy form: one silver strand, no ornament, all movement.
Materials & craft
The open bangle is expertly crafted from sterling silver. Its difficulty is proportion rather than decoration: the silver must wrap smoothly around the wrist while keeping the central opening intentional and balanced.
