Story & heritage
The PanoInverse is described by Tourneau as the first Glashütte Original timepiece to reveal its inner beauty on the dial side, achieved by inverting components usually visible through the sapphire back. That makes it a defining model for the brand’s modern technical identity.
Its dial is formed from rings and exposed architecture rather than a conventional solid plane, with the power-reserve indication becoming part of the visual balance.
Materials & craft
Retailer specifications for a steel reference cite a 42 mm stainless-steel case, manual-winding movement, 50 m water resistance and fabric strap. Product copy highlights the rhodium-plated three-quarter plate, dial-side duplex swan-neck fine adjustment, blued screws and an elegant power-reserve display.
Because the watch is manually wound, the exposed mechanism feels purposeful: the wearer sees the reserve fall and returns energy by hand.
How to choose & style
The PanoInverse is more sculptural than the PanoReserve. Choose it when the finishing is the point: it anchors a minimal outfit, but it is still restrained enough for a jacket because the case remains round and clean.
