Story & heritage
The PanoMaticInverse is Glashütte Original’s automatic expression of the inverse idea: characteristic movement components become part of the dial. Retailer product copy describes the watch as revealing the duplex swan-neck fine adjustment on the dial side while keeping the asymmetric Pano layout.
It adds the Panorama Date to the exposed-mechanics concept, making it a technical showcase that still reads as a practical daily watch.
Materials & craft
Tourneau specifications for the steel bracelet reference cite a 42 mm stainless-steel case, automatic movement, 50 m water resistance, silver dial and Calibre 91-02. The visible architecture includes the balance area and the finishing normally reserved for the case back.
The result is not an openworked watch in the usual sense; it is an inverted Glashütte movement presentation, using plates, screws and adjustment system as the dial’s ornament.
How to choose & style
Wear it as the bolder Pano: it has the proportions of a dress watch, but the exposed mechanics make it more architectural. It works especially well with monochrome tailoring, textured jackets and sharp casual looks.
