Story & heritage
Leather Box is Hestra at its most direct: an all-leather winter mitten built for downhill skiing, ski touring, hiking and everyday use. Official copy calls it a timeless winter mitten.
It connects back to the company's original glove-making history, when Martin Magnusson began producing strong leather work gloves in Hestra in 1936. Leather Box keeps that plain utility in a modern winter form.
Materials & craft
The mitt is sewn entirely in tough goatskin for grip and protection from wind and weather. Its removable polyester liner has a soft, fluffy inside that insulates, wicks moisture, and can be washed, dried or replaced.
How to choose & style
The appeal is functional simplicity. Wear black for the most minimal look, or off-white when the mitten is part of the outfit rather than just the kit.
