Stetson describes the Skyline as a true icon and its bestselling western hat. It is the brand’s straightforward classic-cowboy proposition: quality felt, cattleman crown, self-felt band and buckle set.
The current 7540 profile translates to a 4 5/8-inch cattleman crown and 4-inch brim, giving it a larger western presence than the shorter-brim Open Road.
Materials & craft
The Skyline is made in the U.S.A. from proprietary 6X quality fur felt. Stetson says each hat from its Texas factory is touched by more than 100 sets of hands, then finished with a genuine leather sweatband, full satin liner and signature hat box.
How to choose & style
The Skyline is the clean classic cowboy choice. Black is crisp and formal; silverbelly and chocolate look more traditional. Because the brim is full-sized, keep the rest simple: denim, boots, a western shirt or a plain tee.
