
Since 1997 the Trefoil — once on every Adidas product — has been reserved for heritage pieces, while the Performance logo took over the rest of the range. Originals draws on sports-fashion styles spanning the 1940s to the 1990s, anchored by icons like the Superstar and the Adicolor.
A major campaign launched the label in 2008, and in 2017 Adidas Originals opened its largest store worldwide in Chicago's Wicker Park. Collaborations have stretched from Pharrell and Rita Ora to a record-setting Bored Ape NFT drop.
