Story & heritage
Atomic calls the Hawx Ultra XTD 130 BOA GW the ultimate all-mountain crossover boot, blurring the line between downhill performance and walkable efficiency. It takes the narrow, low-volume Hawx Ultra fit and gives it touring mobility without losing the 130-flex brief.
For Atomic, Hawx is the boot counterpart to its ski families: fit, shell construction and liner customization are the product language rather than graphic identity alone.
Materials & craft
The boot uses a low-volume 98 mm fit, Prolite shell construction, BOA Fit System lower closure, Memory Fit shell-and-cuff customization, Mimic Platinum liner, adjustable AFS Tongue, GripWalk sole compatibility across GripWalk, MN, MNC and Pin bindings, and a 54° cuff range of motion.
How to choose & style
This is the boot for a skier who still drives a ski hard but wants one setup to cross resort, bootpack and short-tour days. Choose Ultra only if your foot truly wants a narrow shell; otherwise Prime will be happier.
