Story & heritage
Atomic positions the Maverick 105 CTI as a new standard for all-mountain, all-conditions freeride skiing. It is the wider, more directional sibling in the Maverick/Maven world: built to charge, explore and stay composed when conditions change.
Official copy says the ski was designed in North America and built in Austria, with Atomic freeride athlete Daron Rahlves praising its hard-charging off-piste and in-resort versatility.
Materials & craft
The Maverick 105 CTI uses a Power Woodcore of ash and poplar, CTI Powered carbon-and-titanal construction, HRZN 3D Maverick/Maven tip shaping, Dura Cap Sidewall and All Mountain Rocker 20/65/15. Atomic states its lower-impact design cuts material-based CO2 equivalent emissions by 24% versus the Maverick 100 TI from 2022.
How to choose & style
Think of it as the strong daily driver for western resorts: wide enough for soft leftovers, precise enough to keep carving when the storm cycle ends. Pair it with a powerful alpine binding if lift-accessed speed is the main use.
