Story & heritage
Atomic describes the Redster S9 Revoshock S as a slalom machine built on race-winning technology used by the world’s top skiers. Where the G9 stretches the turn, the S9 compresses the same Redster attitude into short, fast, precise arcs.
The S9 is one of the clearest examples of Atomic’s race-course-to-piste translation: it gives advanced skiers a retail ski with the posture, plate and visual language of competition equipment.
Materials & craft
The current S9 pairs Revoshock technology with Carbon Boost inserts under the heel, a free-gliding plate beneath the boot, Ultrawall sidewalls and a Power Woodcore made from ash and poplar. Atomic lists a 68 mm waist in the 2026 version, emphasizing quick edge changes and grip on firm snow.
How to choose & style
Choose the S9 if the most satisfying part of skiing is the carved transition. It rewards a centered stance, sharp tune and a boot with real lateral precision.
