Millenary
The off-centre oval Audemars Piguet — a creative dress-watch line built to show depth, movement and asymmetry.
Story & heritage
The Millenary first appeared in 1995, just before the turn of the millennium, and became Audemars Piguet's canvas for more expressive form. Its oval case and off-centre display separate it from the Royal Oak's geometry and the Jules Audemars line's classic roundness.
The line is remembered for making mechanical depth visible: offset dials, exposed balance architecture and a case that feels more like a small sculpture than a traditional dress watch.
Materials & craft
Official collection material frames Millenary around offbeat models, contemporary design and technical creativity. The visual language centres on an oval case, asymmetric dial layout and open movement architecture that lets finishing and component depth become part of the face.
How to choose & style
Millenary works best when treated as a design object: soft tailoring, eveningwear, silk, suede and minimal jewellery all let the oval case stand apart. It is a quieter collector choice for someone who wants AP creativity without the Royal Oak bezel.
