Story & heritage
The Altitude MB Meteor is Bremont’s current evolution of its iconic MB series, the aviation family tied to Martin-Baker and ejection-seat testing. Bremont names this model for the Gloster Meteor, Britain’s first jet fighter and the aircraft used for Martin-Baker’s original live ejection test in 1946.
It keeps the MB codes that made the line recognizable: a dual-crown pilot layout, a rotating inner bezel and the striped “ejection” pull-handle counterweight on the seconds hand.
Materials & craft
The official model uses a 42 mm Grade 2 titanium Trip-Tick case, a re-engineered Roto-Click inner bezel and a BB14 automatic movement with a 68-hour power reserve. Bremont describes the movement as suspended in a flexible rubber mount for shock absorption, with anti-magnetic shielding provided by a soft-iron ring.
How to choose & style
Choose the bracelet for the crispest instrument-watch read, or a leather or NATO strap when the watch needs to feel closer to cockpit kit. The MB Meteor is strongest when the dial colour is allowed to carry the character and the rest of the outfit stays simple.
