Jaguar D-Type
The Bremont-Jaguar motorsport chronograph with steering-wheel rotor and racing-blue dial.
Story & heritage
Bremont’s Jaguar D-Type is part of its official Jaguar collaboration, translating British motorsport cues into a limited chronograph. Bremont’s page states that this D-Type edition is limited to 300 pieces.
The watch uses a blue bi-compax dial, brushed nickel sub-dials and a tachymeter ring, building the line around speed, timing and the shape language of Jaguar racing.
Materials & craft
The official specification describes a 43 mm satin-finished three-piece Trip-Tick case, a chronometer-rated movement, an exhibition sapphire case back and a mechanical BE-50AE movement. The crown carries a Dunlop tyre-tread engraving, and the rotor is inspired by a Jaguar steering wheel.
How to choose & style
The Jaguar works as a weekend chronograph rather than a boardroom one. Navy suede, racing jackets and simple denim pick up the dial without turning the watch into costume.
