Story & heritage
The Terra Nova collection references early twentieth-century military pocket watches and recasts them as modern field watches. The Jumping Hour version follows the sold-out bronze edition and puts the concept into 904L stainless steel.
Its clean montre à guichet display uses windows for hours and minutes, with a compass-inspired seconds hand to keep Bremont’s exploration language visible on the dial.
Materials & craft
The official page lists a 38 mm cushion-shaped 904L steel case and the exclusive BC634 Jumping Hour calibre, developed with Sellita. Bremont states that the hour disc jumps in under a tenth of a second.
How to choose & style
On bracelet, the Terra Nova feels like an unconventional steel sports watch; on nubuck it leans into field gear. The display is graphic, so it suits simple outerwear and earth-tone layers.
