Story & heritage
The Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date represents the Vintage collection’s second decade of inspiration. Official collection pages describe the Vintage watches as modern interpretations of the 1960s and 1970s, and Tourneau notes the compact 40 x 40 mm rounded-corner case as reminiscent of 1970s design icons.
It is the most graphic Vintage watch: square case, chronograph registers, Panorama Date and integrated-bracelet energy.
Materials & craft
Tourneau listings cite a 40 x 40 mm stainless-steel case, automatic movement, 100 m water resistance and chronograph/date/power-reserve functions. Product copy highlights a column-wheel chronograph with stop-second, flyback, 30-minute display, numeric 12-hour display, Panorama Date and power-reserve indication.
The sapphire case back reveals the automatic movement, while bracelet and strap options shift it from retro sport to dressy chronograph.
How to choose & style
This is the bold Vintage choice. Blue and green dials lean sporty; white looks more architectural. Wear it when a round dress watch feels too polite but a diver feels too casual.
