Nostalgia is the whole design language. Synthetic-leather straps, an old-time logo and retro silhouettes aim the brand squarely at an 18-to-35 crowd, with backpacks, duffels, luggage, hats and accessories made across China and Southeast Asia.
Herschel opened its first Canadian store in Vancouver's Gastown in 2018 and now runs 44 retail locations worldwide, from Hong Kong to Dubai to Paris — a brand Slate called "a global phenomenon, glimpsed wherever hipsters dare to tread."
