707C Cordura Boat Tote M
The everyday Cordura boat tote: light, tough and unmistakably Chapelier.
Story & heritage
Founded in Paris in 1976 after Hervé Chapelier's Los Angeles bag-making beginnings, the house built its reputation on light, color-driven utility rather than heavy status hardware. Its canon is a vocabulary of cabas, boat totes, shoulder bags and travel bags that repeat the same practical geometry in different fabrics and sizes.
The 707C is the medium Cordura boat tote — the compact daily size of the house's best-known soft tote shape. Official Japan listings position it for commuting, daily use and the small load of lunch box, bottle and essentials.
Materials & craft
Made from Cordura nylon with cotton top trim and handles, the 707C uses a snap-button closure and deliberately omits pockets to keep the body light and simple. The medium size is listed at 40 x 21 x 19 cm.
How to choose & style
Choose 707C when you want the recognizable Chapelier boat shape without the polish of GP canvas. Dark body-and-trim pairings read commuter-clean; brighter seasonal bodies turn the tote into the color note of an otherwise simple outfit.
