Story & heritage
Le Grand Bambino takes the small flap bag that became a Jacquemus signature and scales it up into a genuine day bag. It keeps the family's defining details — the looping leather strap down the front, the raised gold JACQUEMUS lettering, the flat top handle — but enlarges the satchel body to hold the contents of a working day, and adds an exterior card slot for quick ID access.
It is the most practical member of the Bambino line, the one for people who love the silhouette but need real capacity. As with the rest of the house's bags, it is rendered in smooth Italian calfskin and finished with the clean, hardware-light restraint that defines Simon Porte Jacquemus' design language.
Materials & craft
The Grand Bambino is built from smooth calfskin in a structured satchel shape branded with raised golden lettering. An exterior card slot sits on the back panel; the front carries the looping flap-strap and a magnetic closure. A padded flat handle allows top-carry, and a long adjustable strap converts it to a shoulder or crossbody bag. The interior is lined and roomy enough for a small tablet and daily essentials.
How to choose & style
Tan calfskin is the heritage choice and the most Provençal; black makes it a discreet work bag. Carried on the shoulder it reads as an everyday satchel; on the top handle it sharpens up. It suits clean tailoring and relaxed separates equally, and the looping strap keeps it recognisably Jacquemus without any overt logo.
