The Re-Edition 2000 reissues a Prada nylon mini shoulder bag first released in the year 2000, brought back as part of the archive-revival line. Like its sibling, it is rendered in Re-Nylon — the ECONYL regenerated nylon Prada launched in 2019, produced from recycled and purified plastic waste — while keeping the original's footprint and proportions.

If the house's 1984 backpack put luxury nylon on the map, the Re-Edition 2000 is the slip of that lineage that fit the Y2K underarm-bag moment — and it became one of the defining small-bag silhouettes of its revival.

Materials & craft

The 2000 is the slimmer, more minimal of the two Re-Editions: a compact baguette / underarm silhouette in Re-Nylon with a single short fabric strap, designed to tuck neatly under the arm.
