Story & heritage
The Foil RC 20 page positions the bike as the next evolution of Scott aero bikes and says it is designed for WorldTour sprinters, attackers and breakaway riders. In Scott’s road lineup, Foil is the speed-first counterpart to the lighter Addict.
Its official copy is unusually direct for a race bike: aero, lightweight and comfort are meant to coexist rather than be traded one by one.
Materials & craft
The Foil RC 20 uses an HMX carbon frame and fork, Shimano 105 Di2 electronic shifting, Syncros Capital 1.0 60 wheels and Schwalbe PRO ONE Aero tires. Scott’s F01 Airfoil Technology shapes tubes and junctions around aerodynamic optimisation validated through simulation and wind-tunnel testing.
How to choose & style
Foil RC is best styled like a fast object: deep wheels, close-fitting kit and fewer attachments. Carbon grey is the quiet flex; lighter finishes make the aero profiles more visible in photography.
