Story & heritage
Scott’s history records a 2005 Plasma moment: using CR1 technology, the company developed a triathlon frame described as the world’s lightest aero carbon frame at the time. The current Plasma RC keeps that lineage focused on integration and aerodynamic setup.
The official Plasma RC Pro page describes the bike as triathlon-specific, with fully integrated cables, hydration and storage boxes, and cockpit adjustability for finding an efficient position.
Materials & craft
The Plasma RC Pro is built around a Plasma 6 HMX carbon frame and fork, Shimano Ultegra Di2 drivetrain, Zipp 404 Firecrest carbon wheels, Schwalbe PRO ONE Aero tires and Syncros carbon parts. Scott highlights integrated hydration, frame storage and six rear-wheel mount positions as part of the aero system.
How to choose & style
Plasma RC is not subtle, so do not force it to be. It looks best with a race number, deep wheels and clean cockpit setup; black reads pro-lab, while brighter team colors make the sculpted tubes easier to read.
