Story & heritage
Scott’s company history marks 2003 as the arrival of the Genius, a full-suspension concept with a shock adjustable into lock-out, all-travel and traction modes. The same entry ties the bike’s success to Thomas Frischknecht’s marathon world-championship victory.
The current Genius 910 page keeps the line’s identity direct: smart suspension, smarter features and an all-mountain trail personality built for “any trail, any time.”
Materials & craft
The Genius 910 combines a carbon HMF mainframe with an alloy swingarm, Integrated Suspension Technology, a Virtual 4 Link kinematic and adjustable head angle. Its 160 mm FOX 36 fork, 150 mm FOX Nude rear shock and TwinLoc remote make the suspension system the heart of the bike.
How to choose & style
Genius is the Scott for riders who want the machine to look technical but not fragile. It pairs naturally with kneepads, half-shell helmets and muted kit; bolder frame colors lean into its all-day trail-bike confidence.
