Story & heritage
Alpha’s official L-2B Mod Gen II copy describes it as “two jackets in one” and the lightweight version of the MA-1. It belongs to the same flight-family vocabulary — nylon shell, ribbed edges, sleeve utility pocket — but is built for intermediate weather rather than deep insulation.
In the icon lineup, the L-2B shows how Alpha translates the bomber code into a less padded, more seasonal piece without losing the flight-jacket identity.
Materials & craft
Official specs list a 100% flight nylon shell and 100% nylon lining. Features include reversible construction, two exterior flap pockets, two interior flap pockets, a utility sleeve pocket on both sides and knit collar, cuffs and waistband.
