Story & heritage
Alpha’s N-2B Heritage page describes a short-waist parka built to withstand freezing temperatures. Its identity comes from cropped winter protection: a zip-down hood, synthetic mouton trim and the distinctive pass-through pocket.
Where the N-3B is long and enveloping, the N-2B keeps the cold-weather hood language but compresses it into a waist-length silhouette that feels closer to a bomber.
Materials & craft
The official page lists a 100% water-repellent nylon shell with polyester interlining, non-removable faux-fur hood edge, faux-mouton hood lining, storm flap, utility sleeve pocket, pass-through pockets, lower welt pockets and knit rib cuffs and waistband.
How to choose & style
The N-2B works best when its cropped proportion is intentional: wear it with fuller pants, cargos or relaxed denim. Unzipping the split hood lets the collar spread flat and gives the parka its most recognizable shape.
