Alpha’s official Leather MA-1 page describes the jacket as a reimagining of the classic aviator silhouette. It keeps the MA-1 identity — ribbed bomber edges, sleeve utility pocket and red ribbon — but changes the surface from nylon to genuine Napa leather.

That makes it a premium branch of the house icon rather than a separate idea: the same Alpha flight shape, rendered heavier, smoother and more permanent.
