Classique
The round, fluted, guilloché-dial Breguet that turns the maison's eighteenth-century vocabulary into a modern dress watch.
Story & heritage
The Classique collection is Breguet's clearest statement of its house language: legible, precise, refined watches that carry the technical rules and traditional values of the maison into current production.
The Classique 5177 is a compact distillation of those codes. Breguet describes it as a pure product of the house, with a fluted case band, transparent caseback, straight lugs, a Grand Feu enamel or guilloché dial, and the open-tipped hands that make the watch recognisable even before the signature is read.
Materials & craft
The reference 5177BB/29/9V6 is housed in an 18K white gold 38 mm case with a sapphire caseback. Its white Grand Feu enamel dial is paired with steel Breguet hollow-apple hands, central seconds and a discreet date, while automatic calibre 777 Q provides a 55-hour power reserve.
How to choose & style
Classique is the entry point for someone who wants Breguet without spectacle. The enamel-dial versions feel crisp and formal; guilloché versions read warmer and more historic. Wear it on alligator with tailoring, fine knitwear or evening clothes, letting the slim Roman-numeral dial do the signalling.
