Classique Souscription 2025
A one-hand anniversary Classique that brings Breguet's historic subscription idea into a contemporary wristwatch.
Story & heritage
For its 250th anniversary in 2025, Breguet unveiled the Classique Souscription 2025 in Paris, the city of Abraham-Louis Breguet's workshop. The watch reinterprets the historic subscription model as a restrained, single-hand wristwatch.
The piece sits inside the Classique family rather than outside it: a round case, Grand Feu enamel, Breguet hollow-apple hand and quiet dial architecture, with the anniversary carried through the concept rather than a loud commemorative treatment.
Materials & craft
The official 2025BH/28/9W6 specification lists a 40 mm case in 18K Breguet gold, a polished Grand Feu enamel dial, steel Breguet hollow-apple hand, alligator strap and sapphire caseback. The manual-wound VS00 movement has a 96-hour power reserve, 3 Hz frequency and a Breguet Nivachron balance spring.
How to choose & style
This is the collector's Classique: more narrative than the 5177, but still very wearable. It works best as a quiet dress watch, where the single hand and warm Breguet-gold case can be noticed slowly rather than announced.
