Tradition
The modern Breguet that exposes its architecture on the dial side, borrowing principles from the master's subscription and tact watches.
Story & heritage
The Tradition collection reinterprets the subscription and tact watches of Abraham-Louis Breguet, turning their principles into a modern architecture with the movement presented openly on the dial side.
The 7057 is one of the purest expressions of the idea. Its off-centred time dial leaves the gear train, bridges, escapement and old-style pare-chute visible, making the watch look less like a closed dial than a miniature mechanical landscape.
Materials & craft
The Tradition 7057BB/G9/9W6 has a 40 mm 18K white gold case, black-lacquer hand-guilloché dial, Breguet hollow-apple hands and a visible power-reserve indication at 10 o'clock. Manual calibre 507 DR1 has a 50-hour power reserve, 224 components and a Breguet silicon balance spring.
How to choose & style
Tradition is for the wearer who wants mechanics first. The silver and black dials are easiest to wear because they keep the visible movement graphic; rose gold warms it up. Pair it with restrained clothing and let the open architecture become the texture.
